Removal of Laminate Flooring

To remove laminate flooring is as simple as the installation itself, if it is a floating floor.
If you have to remove the flooring to replace a damaged slat or board then start at the wall, and
remove the quarter round from all sides.

Then gently grab the board close to the wall and pull. You may have to literally stomp on the
board with a slapping motion of your foot. As if you were trying to kick the board toward the wall.
Once you have the first board loose, then the others will follow.

Remove enough boards to get to the area that you want to replace. Put the new board or
boards in place and follow the installation procedures. If you can not do this or have questions
please contact your local building supply store and they will give you pointers on removal. If your
floor ,has been glued it would probably be best to call an installer for instructions or help in removal.
